Worlds Most Expensive Champagne!!!

As a avid bottle popper I'm always trying to find something new and fly to drink. That being so the price of bottles in the club have not dropped even in this recession. So If your like me and always wondered what the world's most expensive bubbly is, wonder no more. This 1928 Krug is the costliest champagne ever to be sold at an auction. This 75cl bottle comes from the very prestigious Krug Collection. It sold for a whopping $21,200 at an Acker Merrall & Condit's auction in Hong Kong. Champagne expert and the head of the auction house Sotheby's, Serena Sutcliffe claims that the 1928 Krug is 'one of the greatest Champagnes ever made'. I'm inclined to believe her after hearing about its distinguished flavor that has notes of apricot and honey. It has clearly beaten the previous most expensive bubbly which was the Methuselah (6 litre bottle) of Louis Roederer, Cristal Brut 1990, Millennium 2000 that fetched $17,625 in the US in December 2005. I wonder who will be the next record breaker?
